About the Swanners

A freelance writer since 2000, Waheeda has written about interior design, fashion, beauty, health and travel for newspaper, magazine and online. She misses the mountains of BC, loves the feel of salty ocean water when she’s swimming and never says no to any trip, plane, train or automobile.

When not on the road – or in the air, as the case may be – Lisa can generally be found behind the desk of her Toronto apartment, working as a freelance writer. She contributes to a range of publications, on a variety of subjects, but will happily leave that behind whenever the next chance to travel comes about.
